Once Upon a Time…
There was a little girl named Goldilocks. She had golden hair that shined like the sun, and everyone called her Goldilocks because of it. One day, while walking in the forest, she found a small house. She was curious and decided to take a look inside.
Inside the House
The house belonged to three bears: Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. They were not home because they had gone for a walk while their porridge cooled. Goldilocks knocked on the door, but nobody answered. Since the door was unlocked, she pushed it open and went inside.
The Three Bowls of Porridge
Inside the house, Goldilocks saw three bowls of porridge on the table. She was hungry, so she decided to taste the porridge. First, she tried Papa Bear’s porridge, but it was too hot. Then, she tried Mama Bear’s porridge, but it was too cold. Finally, she tasted Baby Bear’s porridge, and it was just right! Goldilocks ate it all up.
The Three Chairs
After eating, Goldilocks felt tired and wanted to sit down. She saw three chairs in the living room. First, she sat in Papa Bear’s chair, but it was too big. Then, she sat in Mama Bear’s chair, but it was too soft. Finally, she sat in Baby Bear’s chair, and it was just right! But as soon as she sat down, the chair broke into pieces!
The Three Beds
Goldilocks was now very sleepy, so she went upstairs to find a bed. First, she lay down on Papa Bear’s bed, but it was too hard. Then, she lay down on Mama Bear’s bed, but it was too soft. Finally, she lay down on Baby Bear’s bed, and it was just right! Soon, Goldilocks fell fast asleep.
The Bears Come Home
A little while later, the three bears came home. They saw that someone had been in their house.
“Someone’s been eating my porridge!” growled Papa Bear.
“Someone’s been eating my porridge too!” said Mama Bear.
“Someone’s been eating my porridge, and it’s all gone!” cried Baby Bear.
Next, they went to the living room.
“Someone’s been sitting in my chair!” roared Papa Bear.
“Someone’s been sitting in my chair too!” said Mama Bear.
“Someone’s been sitting in my chair, and it’s broken!” sobbed Baby Bear.
Then, the bears went upstairs to check their beds.
“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!” grumbled Papa Bear.
“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed too!” said Mama Bear.
“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed, and she’s still here!” shouted Baby Bear.
Goldilocks Wakes Up
Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears staring at her. She was so scared that she jumped out of bed and ran out of the house as fast as she could. She ran all the way home and promised never to enter a stranger’s house again.
